365 - Day 31 - 3/19/08
well i was back to work today and barely made it through the day. but i was slated to dye eggs with courtney tonight, so i went to mom's right after work and took a nice long nap and was ready to go. so courtney and i had a great time dying eggs for our easter weekend :) one of my favorite things to do.

365 - Day 30 - 3/18/08
well i was sick again today, not sure if the antibiotics made me sick or what, but man alive, this has been a rough few days. stayed home again from work today after my stomach decided to wage war against me last night. feeling much better now, lots of bland foods and gatorade today. hopefully i will be able to return to work tomorrow and make it through the next day and a half that i have left before spring break. hope everyone else is well.

well, my not feeling well last night turned out to be strep throat. woke up this morning with major aches and pains and my sore throat was worse. mom came up to take me to patient first since i had a fever and the shakes, was in no condition to drive. so now i am at mom's being nursed back to health. gotta love mom.

365 - Day 26 - 3/13/08
here is one for today, had a long day and not feeling all that well tonight, my neck and throat are killing me. cuddled up on the couch in one of mom mom's afghans watching planet earth on dvd (which is phenomenal) i never got to finish watching it last year since sean went into the hospital midway through so i bought it a few weeks and and we have been watching in amazement a few nights a week. gonna drink some airborne and go to bed early tonight.

shawn and i went to hats in the belfry today and each bought a new hat. mine is this super cute kangol bucket hat, which i can't wait to wear this spring. definitely brightened my day.

Nothing beats getting cozy at your moms after a hard day. Mom has a day bed in the basement full of warm blankets and lots of pillows, it is a place I have spent much time over the last 10 months just vegging and forgetting about life. Today was no different. It's nice to have a place like this to go and feel comfortable.

Today was a pretty stressful day...now I am decompressing in front of my laptop, or "lightbox" as Mom would call it. The quality of the photo is not that great because I took it with the built-in camera on my Mac. I do kinda like this one though because of its unclear quality.

Photo Goal
This year instead of making New Years Resolutions that I would not follow through with, I have decided that I would like to make a list of Things to Do in 2008. On this list one of my goals, is related to my photography. After taking the photo class this fall and learning a lot, I have realized upon picking my camera up after a brief hiatus from taking pictures, I had lost a lot of what I had learned and do not want this to continue.
So after doing a little bit of research and finding a little inspiration, I have decided that my photo goal for the year will be to take a photo every single day this year. Being a scrapbooker, this will be helpful in that arena also (where I also have some major goals for the year). So in the interest of trying to get this jumpstarted, I am going to go back and post a few pics I have taken this month already with the official count starting today.
I will post my photos here, at least once a week if not more often, and will also post them in my Picasa Photo Gallery
and my Flickr Gallery
So I hope that you will check out some of photos from the year and maybe be inspired to set a similar goal for yourself. Happy 2008!
